New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a powerful message to the world from Israeli soil in support of the Gaza Peace Plan. PM Modi said that there is no place for terrorism in the world. While supporting the Gaza Peace Plan, he emphasized that "humanity should never become a victim of war."
PM Modi emphasized, "Peace and stability in West Asia are directly linked to India's security interests. From the beginning, we have supported dialogue and a peaceful resolution of issues. This is the call of the Global South and all of humanity."
Key issues were discussed between the two countries.
During PM Modi's visit, a significant meeting was held between the two leaders, in which an agreement was reached to elevate India-Israel relations to the level of a "Special Strategic Partnership." PM Modi wrote on the social media platform "X" that their meeting was very fruitful and this historic decision was taken keeping in mind the aspirations of the people of both countries.
He stated that the two countries have decided to give a new direction to economic and trade cooperation. They also agreed to establish a "Critical and Emerging Technology Partnership," which will enhance cooperation in future technologies.
PM Modi also described the agricultural sector as an important part of the cooperation between the two countries. He said that under the ongoing agricultural cooperation between India and Israel, it has been decided to increase the number of Centers of Excellence to 100, which will greatly benefit farmers.
PM Modi also met with the cast of the Israeli web series "Fauda" and shared selfies with them. He jokingly wrote that all that was needed for this meeting was a selfie, not any undercover work.
