Times Indian believes that news and public-interest journalism should be reachable by everyone. We strive to improve our site's digital structure, typography, link clarity, contrast, and keyboard access. We use accessibility best practices as a practical benchmark to enhance the reading experience across all devices.

Our public pages, news feeds, search controls, policy listings, and feedback fields are structured to remain navigable using a keyboard. If you experience challenges navigating our main menus or form controls without a mouse, please report the page details to our team.

We design our pages with light backgrounds, clear headings, high-contrast text ratios, and generous line-spacing to aid readability. While we do not claim formal WCAG certification, we actively work to align our design system templates with standard accessibility guidelines.

We aim to provide descriptive alternative text (alt tags) for editorial illustrations, news photos, and infographics that provide important story context. Decorative assets are intentionally assigned blank values to ensure screen readers bypass them.

Our application uses responsive grid frameworks and flexible CSS media queries. This guarantees that our article columns, search results, and resource listings resize smoothly and remain readable on small smartphone displays, tablets, and widescreen desktop monitors alike.

Some older editorial files, embedded maps, third-party social media widgets, and programmatic ad banners may not meet our modern accessibility standards. We are focusing our updates on the core features of reading, global navigation, and search.
