Acceptance of Terms

BINDING AGREEMENT

By accessing or using Times Indian, you hereby agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service along with all applicable laws of India.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from accessing or using our services.

Note: "Your continued use of Times Indian constitutes your unconditional acceptance to these terms."

User Responsibilities

MUST COMPLY
Lawful Usage Only: Use the service strictly for lawful purposes and in compliance with Indian laws
No Scraping or Mining: Strictly prohibited from any form of data scraping, automated collection, or content extraction
No Impersonation: Shall not impersonate any person, entity, or falsely represent your affiliation
No Spam or Misinformation: Refrain from posting spam, malicious content, or false information in comments
Respect IP Rights: Honour all intellectual property rights of Times Indian and third parties
No Unauthorised Access: Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or user accounts

Note: "Violation of these responsibilities may result in immediate termination of access without prior notice and possible legal action under Indian IT Act, 2000."

Indemnification

LEGAL PROTECTION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Times Indian, its affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, licensors, and partners from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

Your Use: Your use or misuse of the service
Terms Violation: Your violation of any provision of these Terms
Content Submission: Any content you post, upload, or submit to the service
Rights Infringement: Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights

Note: "This indemnification obligation survives the termination of your account or use of Times Indian."

Times Indian may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us.

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.

Note: "Times Indian shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with use of any external site. We strongly advise you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit."

Editorial Integrity

ACCURACY

We strive for surgical precision in our reporting. However, news is a dynamic entity and information is provided 'as-is' for general informational purposes only.

Termination of Access

Immediate Termination: We may terminate access immediately without prior notice or liability
No Refund: Any fees paid are non-refundable upon termination
Survival: Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive

Note: "If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using Times Indian."

Limitation of Liability

LEGAL SHIELD

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian laws, Times Indian and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any:

Direct & Indirect Damages: Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Financial Loss: Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
Third-Party Conduct: Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
Unauthorised Access: Unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
SECTION 09

Digital Conduct

CONDUCT

Times Indian is a sanctuary for civilized discourse. We maintain zero tolerance for:

Hate Speech: No content promoting hatred or discrimination
Harassment: No bullying, threatening, or targeting individuals
Misinformation: No deliberate spread of false or misleading information
Disruption: No spamming or disrupting community discussions

Note: "We reserve the right to remove any content and permanently revoke access to any user violating these standards without prior notice."

SECTION 10

Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

DISPUTES

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Times Indian shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations.

If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India.

Arbitration Venue: Arbitration shall take place in Mumbai, Maharashtra
Costs: Each party shall bear its own costs in arbitration
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive right to class action

Note: "Notwithstanding the above, Times Indian may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information."

SECTION 11

Force Majeure

EXCUSABLE

Times Indian shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Acts of God: Natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, pandemics
Governmental Actions: Laws, regulations, orders, or restrictions
Technical Failures: Internet outages, cyber attacks, infrastructure failures
Labor Disputes: Strikes, lockouts, or labor interruptions

Note: "Performance shall be excused for the duration of such force majeure event."

SECTION 12

Changes to Terms

MODIFICATION

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion.

All changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of Times Indian after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

SECTION 13

Governing Law

JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Times Indian shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Mumbai, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
