Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif reached Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot on Wednesday and interacted with military officers and soldiers involved in the recent conflict with India. This is the same military base which was demolished by India during retaliation. For this reason, no part of the airbase is shown in the pictures released during Shahbaz's visit. During this, Shahbaz also spewed venom against India while standing on a tank.
India had destroyed Parrur
Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot is about 130 kilometers from Lahore. 'Operation Sindoor' was launched by India on the intervening night of May 6 and 7 to avenge the killing of 26 people in the Pahalgam terror attack. The Indian armed forces targeted nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, killing more than 100 terrorists.
Indian missiles fell on these Pakistani hideouts
After this, Pakistan attempted to attack several Indian military installations on May 8, 9 and 10. The Indian armed forces launched a fierce retaliatory attack on several Pakistani military installations including Rafiki, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Saqqara and Chunian. Radar centers located at the air bases in Pasrur and Sialkot were also targeted using precision weapons causing heavy damage.
Shehbaz will also visit other military installations
According to the Prime Minister House, Shehbaz met military officers and personnel who participated in the operation during the military conflict. The official statement said that in the coming days, the Prime Minister will also visit Air Force and Naval bases to meet officers and personnel of the Pakistan Air Force and Navy.
