Islamabad: Baloch rebels blew up an armored vehicle of the Pakistani Army by detonating a landmine in Balochistan. The explosion was so powerful that the armored vehicle was blown to pieces. Along with this, all the soldiers present in the vehicle were killed. The name of the vehicle destroyed in the attack is Dangfang Armored Vehicle. It was inducted into the Pakistani Army in 2021 for anti-terror operations. This armored vehicle has been made in China.

The Pakistani Army has 300 Chinese-made Dongfeng Mengshi GEN-III CSK-182 4×4 Armored Personal Carriers (APC). This vehicle was selected as the next generation tactical vehicle of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) in 2017. In addition to the standard APC configuration, special versions are also available, which can be used as a battlefield ambulance, signal/electronic intelligence, command and control vehicle, a platform for heavy weapons such as rocket launchers or ATGM launchers.

This variant has improved satellite communication capability, long-range night-vision cameras and most importantly mine-resistant ambush protection capability. All CSK-181s are equipped with a remote-controlled turret on which machine guns, anti-tank missiles and grenade launchers can be mounted. The vehicle entered service in 2020. The CSK-182 is a smaller version of the CSK-181 with 6 seats including a driver and a weapon station operator. It is based on the EQ2111.
