Baloch Rebels Take a Stand! Roads Blocked in Fierce Protest Against Chinese Mining!

BALOCHISTAN: Balochistan is the largest province of Pakistan. The bigger the province, the bigger are the problems it is facing. The Balochi citizens have been against the Pakistani rule since 1948. They are still fighting for freedom. The people of Balochistan are constantly protesting against CPEC and the mineral resources being exploited under its cover. To suppress that voice, the brutality of the Pakistani army and police continues. Now the Baloch rebels have launched a massive attack on the Chinese project working on the Saindak mine, which has gold and copper reserves. According to the media of Balochistan, the supply convoy going to Saindak was attacked. The Metallurgical Corporation of China is carrying out mining work in this mine. According to the report, a convoy of 29 vehicles was passing under Pakistani security. The attack was carried out on the Quetta Karachi highway passing through Manguchar in Kalat.

Chinese company has been exploiting it for 30 years

Balochistan is the largest mineral reserve of Pakistan. Chinese companies are looting all the capital there by mining. According to a report, these Chinese companies have been mining minerals in Balochistan since 2002. This lease was extended for five years in the year 2017. According to the report, every year about 25 tonnes of gold and 12000 to 15000 tonnes of copper are mined. These Chinese companies keep half of the profit, that is, 50%, for themselves. They give 48% to Pakistan and only 2% goes to Balochistan.

Mines given in exchange for weapons

Pakistan gave two mines containing gold, silver and copper to the Metallurgical Corporation of China, which is under the Chinese government. According to the report, in the 1990s, Saindak and Reko Diq mines in Chagai province of Balochistan were given for mining in exchange for M-9 and M-11 missile systems. The mining lease was for twenty years, which was extended. China exploited these mines rapidly in a short time, which is still continuing. If we talk about the amount of gold and copper in these two mines, then Saindak mine has 20 times more gold than Reko Diq mine. Its quantity is around 6 lakh kilos

Whoever raised his voice was made to disappear

If we talk about the claims of the Human Rights Council of Balochistan, till now more than 22600 Baloch citizens are missing. There has been a tremendous increase in cases of fake encounters, target killings, torture, extra judicial killings and murder of women. Now the rebel groups there are taking revenge for the tortures that have increased at the instigation of China.
