CNN: US Feared Nuclear War, Intervened After India's Strike on Pakistan Bases

Washington: American media CNN has made a new claim regarding the India-Pakistan conflict. CNN has claimed that America had to come to the rescue after India's air strike on Pakistan's nuclear base. It said that America began to fear that India had surrounded Pakistan and this could lead both sides to the unimaginable option of using nuclear weapons. However, India has rejected America's mediation in the conflict with Pakistan. India has said in clear words that the ceasefire with Pakistan is the result of the talks between the two sides.

Pakistan scared by India's attacks

In a CNN program, Fareed Zakaria asked Foreign Policy magazine editor-in-chief Ravi Agarwal what does it mean that America finally realized that it had to get involved? To this Ravi Agarwal replied - something like this happened, and it all happened so quickly. So this whole conflict basically lasted for about four days. And when India started attacking Pakistani military bases around Thursday and Friday, remember, it was the deepest attack on Pakistani territory since 1971.

Did America intervene for this reason?

He further said, "Reporting indicates that some of its attacks passed close to one of Pakistan's nuclear command centers. And this could be a signal to America that Islamabad is surrounded. And if they do not get involved then it could lead to the unthinkable option of using nuclear weapons between the two sides."
