‘I Stand Alone Before the World’: Netanyahu Blames Anti-Israel Hate for Embassy Killings

Washington: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reacted strongly to the killing of two employees of the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC in the US. Reacting to this attack, Netanyahu said that the constant provocative talk against Israelis is responsible for this attack. Netanyahu said that I am alone in front of the world against terrorism but I stand firmly. I want to make it clear that I will not surrender. Netanyahu has once again reiterated the need to eliminate the Palestinian group Hamas.

Both the employees have been shot dead near the Capitol Jewish Museum. Netanyahu said that online anti-Semitic speeches are increasing violence against Israelis abroad. After this attack, Netanyahu has ordered to immediately increase the security of all Israeli embassies and consulates. The Israeli government has asked other countries to ensure the safety of its diplomats.

Will regain control over Gaza: Netanyahu

Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that Israel is committed to gaining full control over the Gaza Strip. He said that Israel will take every possible step for its security. Netanyahu has said that the Israeli government will conduct a thorough investigation of this incident in Washington DC and will ensure that the culprits are punished at all costs. Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, has also called this incident a 'hateful act of anti-Semitic terrorism'.

Israeli embassy employees have been shot outside the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington. This museum is located at some distance from the FBI's regional office in the country's capital. The US police have not yet given detailed information regarding the shooting incident. The US agency FBI has said that it has started investigating this incident.

US Homeland Security Minister Kristi Noem has confirmed that a man and a woman were shot in the incident. Both of them were attacked when they came out of the Capitol Jewish Museum. Noem said that we are actively investigating this incident and working to get information about the case. We will bring the criminals to justice.
