Iran drone strike hits Fujairah depot, three Indians injured in UAE

Dubai: Three Indian nationals sustained injuries during Iranian drone attacks that took place in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, on Monday. Iran carried out this drone attack specifically targeting the Fujairah oil industry zone. The drone attack sparked a fire within the industrial area, and efforts to bring it under control are still underway. UAE emergency response teams are present at the scene and are working to contain the blaze. Furthermore, Iran also launched an attack on an oil tanker near the UAE port, causing it to catch fire.

    Efforts to Extinguish Fire Continue

In a statement, the Fujairah Media Office reported that the three individuals sustained moderate injuries and have been hospitalized for medical treatment. The office further stated that additional information would be shared as it becomes available. Officials confirmed that the fire broke out following a drone attack originating from Iran. The situation at the oil facilities has been described as serious. Civil defense teams were immediately deployed to the site and remain on the scene, working to bring the fire under control.

Missile Attack Siren Sounds in UAE

Meanwhile, an emergency siren warning of a potential missile attack sounded once again in the UAE on Monday, although the specific cause was not disclosed. This marked the second time such a siren had sounded on Monday. In the weeks following the US-Iran ceasefire, no such warnings had been issued until recently. Officials have not provided detailed information regarding the two instances in which the siren was triggered. The situation was declared normal just minutes after the initial warning. There are no immediate reports of any casualties.
