Tehran: The tension between America and Iran can turn into a big war at any time. Despite America's threat of attack, the Shia country is not ready to bow down. Meanwhile, the Iranian army has deployed its missiles to respond to any US attack. According to the Tehran Times report, Iran's missiles have been loaded on launchers in all underground missile cities and are ready for launch. The Tehran Times wrote in a post on X, 'Opening Pandora's Box will cost the US government and its allies a heavy price.'
Missile deployment in response to Trump's threat
Iran's missile deployment comes hours after Donald Trump's threat, in which the US President threatened to bomb Tehran if it did not sign a nuclear deal. Iran rejected Trump's proposal for direct talks with Washington last week. After this, in a telephone interview with NBC News, Trump said that US and Iranian officials are in talks, but did not give details about it.
Trump said in a telephone interview, 'If they do not make a deal, there will be a bombing. It will be a bombing like they have never seen before.' The US President further said, 'If they do not make a deal, I will impose secondary tariffs on them, as I did four years ago.'
Eye on Iran's nuclear program
During his first term as president, Trump unilaterally pulled the US out of the nuclear deal with Iran. Earlier, the previous agreement with Iran imposed strict limits on Tehran's nuclear activities in exchange for easing US sanctions. Iran accelerated its uranium enrichment after the deal expired. Reports suggest that Iran's uranium enrichment is close to weapons-grade levels and that it could produce a nuclear weapon within weeks.
