According to a report by *Dawn*, students at the SUSIT Chatta Bakhtawar campus were protesting against the dismissal of a senior university official and other administrative issues. Social media claims suggest the military officer arrived at the university after being summoned by his wife, who works there. He attempted to intimidate the protesting students by flaunting his uniform and using abusive language. When the students objected, the officer began hitting them with a baton.
