Pakistani Man Planned Attack on Jewish Center With ISIS: FBI Chief Kash Patel

Washington: US FBI chief Kash Patel has made a big disclosure about a Pakistani citizen. He has told that Canada has extradited a Pakistani citizen to America, who is accused of plotting a terrorist attack in New York on October 7 last year. This attack was to be carried out on the first anniversary of Hamas' deadly attack on innocent people in Israel. Let us tell you that Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October 2023, after which Israel launched its campaign to eliminate Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Hamas terrorists killed more than 1200 Israeli citizens in a brutal attack. Hamas terrorists brutally treated many Jewish women. After which more than 50 thousand people have been killed in Gaza in Israel's retaliatory action.

That is why a conspiracy was hatched to attack again on 7 October. A major terrorist attack was going to be carried out by targeting a Jewish center located in New York City, but the FBI foiled it in time. FBI Chief Kash Patel has said that a Pakistani citizen was involved in this conspiracy, who wanted to carry out a terrorist attack in collaboration with the Islamic terrorist organization ISIS. But the attack was foiled and now the Pakistani citizen has been handed over to America by Canada.

Pakistani citizen was involved in the attack plot

FBI Chief Kash Patel wrote on social media platform X that "Big news... This afternoon, Pakistani citizen Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, living in Canada, was extradited to the United States on charges of helping ISIS and trying to carry out terrorist acts. In the autumn of last year, Khan allegedly planned to travel from Canada to New York and carry out a mass shooting in support of ISIS at a Jewish center in Brooklyn. Khan allegedly planned the attack on October 7, 2024, which is the one-year anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel." Kash Patel further wrote that "Thankfully, the great work of FBI teams and our partners exposed and stopped those plots. Khan was arrested by Canadian authorities on September 4, 2024. He has now come to America, so now he will have to face justice in America." Major news… earlier this afternoon, Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, a Pakistani citizen residing in Canada, was extradited to the United States on charges of attempting to provide material support to ISIS and attempting to commit acts of terrorism.

FBI Chief Kash Patel further wrote that "This case is a reminder of the continuing threat of terrorism in every corner of the world - as well as a worrying increase in threats against our Jewish communities. Your FBI will remain vigilant and work around the clock to counter them." At the same time, US Attorney Jay Clayton has said in a statement that Pakistani citizen Khan had planned to use automatic weapons to kill members of the Jewish community. Clayton said, "He planned to use automatic weapons to kill as many members of our Jewish community as possible, all in support of the Islamic State." The US Justice Department said that Khan allegedly revealed his plans in a conversation with the conspirators, who were actually undercover US agents.

This was not the first time a Pakistani citizen had tried to terrorise the US. Earlier in 2010, Pakistani-origin Faisal Shahzad had tried to detonate a car bomb in Times Square. In 2016, a Pakistani link was also revealed in the New York World Trade Centre bomb plot. Now once again a terrorist linked to Pakistan was trying to kill innocent citizens in the US.
