Washington: A small plane crashed into a field in the US state of Illinois on Saturday. All four people on board the plane died in this accident. The accident occurred near Trilla after around 10 am on Saturday, when this single-engine plane collided with a power line and fell into a field while burning. The plane that met with the accident was a Cessna C180G. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has said four people have died in this accident. The deceased include two women and two men.


Coles County Coroner Ed Schneers said the deceased have not been identified yet. This accident happened near Trilla, where plane accidents do not happen often. This accident has happened at a time when concerns are increasing about traveling by small plane. This is due to many plane accidents in recent months.


The Governor expressed grief


The NTSB is investigating this accident. The NTSB team is present at the accident site. They are examining the wreckage of the plane to know the reason for the accident. The team has also spoken to eyewitnesses of the accident. However, the cause of the accident is not yet known. The team says that the real causes of the accident will be known only after the report comes.


Governor JB Pritzker expressed grief over this accident and said that the government is monitoring the situation. He has expressed condolences to the families of the victims. Governor Pritzker said on social media, 'Sad news has come from Coles County. The government is committed to provide all possible help to the people affected by this plane crash.
