PM Modi said you are well aware of the changes that have taken place in India in the last decade. Walking on the path of reform, performance, and transformation, today India is the fifth largest economy in the world. The world's fastest-growing major economy is soon going to become the third-largest economy in the world. Our identity on the global stage is that today India is rapidly becoming a preferred global investment destination. We have launched the Semiconductor and Quantum Mission in India and we are encouraging 'Make in India' and 'Make for the World' in defense.
Next AI Summit in India
PM Modi earlier participated in the AI Summit. Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology S Krishnan said after the summit that the next AI Summit will be held in India. Speaking at the 14th India France CEO Meeting, External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar said, We are meeting during the AI Action Summit. The digital age requires trust and transparency. These are indeed shared characteristics between us. The AI Action Summit in itself is a reminder of how much we can do in AI, software development, and cybersecurity. 2026 has been designated as the India-France Innovation Year. We need to shape the global discourse in this key area, only a multipolar world can ensure that AI develops with minimal bias.
