Polar Vortex Collapse Sparks Global Alarm! Scientists Warn of Extreme Snowstorms & Freezing Temps

Polar Vortex Collapse: The temperature of the earth is getting warmer day by day. But the danger of a terrible cold wave is looming over America, Canada and the UK. Scientists have issued a big alert regarding this white devastation. According to scientists, the danger of a terrible cold wave is looming over America, Canada and the UK. Meteorologists are warning that the Polar Vortex, which is a huge vortex of cold air over the Arctic, is once again on the verge of breaking.

This means that severe cold may return to many countries of the world in March, causing a huge drop in temperature and disrupting life. According to the report, since the polar vortex broke last month, it was feared that this incident could happen again. Experts believe that this breakdown could be even more frightening. Due to this, a historic drop in temperature can be seen in parts of North America and Europe.

The polar vortex is changing its shape

According to AccuWeather meteorologist Paul Pastelok, this polar vortex may be displaced towards Europe and eastern Canada. This can cause severe cold in these areas. Although usually a strong polar vortex keeps cold air locked in the poles, this time it is stretching strangely and changing its shape. This unusual behavior is happening due to energy fluctuations in the atmosphere, due to which the polar vortex is stretching and shrinking more than usual.

    What are experts worried about?

While NOAA says that the polar vortex has been "quite strong" this year. But experts believe that its strange shape and frequent breakdowns are a matter of concern. When the polar vortex breaks, it affects the jet stream. This pushes cold air southward. The result is severe snowstorms and deadly cold.

Even before the polar vortex broke in February, many areas had recorded record-breaking snowfall and cold. Scientists are debating why it is so cold despite global warming. Some experts believe that climate change is affecting the behavior of the jet stream, increasing extreme weather events. Whatever the reason, one thing is clear that this year's cold havoc is not over yet. The danger of the polar vortex is not over yet and the temperature may fall further in the coming weeks.
