Kiev: Russia has attacked two cities of Ukraine in large numbers through drones and missiles in the early hours of Tuesday. Three people were killed and 13 others were injured in these attacks. Ukrainian officials have given this information about the Russian attacks. The attack took place in the capital Kiev and the southern port city of Odessa. A statement issued by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the attack as one of the biggest attacks so far during the war.
Ukrainian President Zelensky said that Russia fired 315 drones and seven missiles during the night. He said that most of the drones fired were martyr drones. Zelensky has called for concrete action from the US and Europe in the wake of the attack. He said that the echo of Russian missile and martyr drone attacks is louder than the efforts of the US and other countries around the world to force Russia to come on the path of peace.
Attacks are intensifying
Odessa provincial head Oleh Kiper said that a maternity hospital and residential buildings located in the center of the southern port city were damaged in the attack. According to a statement by the regional prosecutor's office, two people were killed and nine injured in the city. One person was also killed and four people were injured in the Obolon district of Kiev in the attack.
Fighting has been going on between Russia and Ukraine for the last 39 months. Russia attacked Ukraine in February 2022. Since then there has been a continuous war. In recent times, this fight has gained a lot of momentum. Talks have also taken place between the two sides in Turkey, but no consensus is being reached on a ceasefire.
