Satellite Images Reveal US Strike Impact on Iran’s Nuclear Sites, Bunker Busters Leave Craters

Tehran: Satellite pictures of the US attack on Iran's nuclear bases have arrived. The impact site of the US bombs can be clearly seen in these pictures. Pits are visible at six places in these pictures. It is believed that this is where the US bombs must have entered Iran's nuclear bases. The US has said that it has fired GBU-57 bombs on Iran's nuclear bases through B-2 bombers. It is also known as bunker buster, which can penetrate a 61 meter thick layer of concrete. Apart from this, the US has also attacked Iran with Tomahawk cruise missiles.

What was seen in the satellite images

These satellite images taken by Maxar Technologies have been shared by open source intelligence Damien Simon (@detresfa_). He wrote on X, "The latest images received through Maxar show at least 6 ammunition entry holes/pits on top of a ridge just above the underground complex at Fordo, which are the result of US air strikes."

The US attacked in the early hours of Sunday

The US attacked three Iranian nuclear centers in the early hours of Sunday, strengthening the attacks launched by Israel with the aim of stopping Iran's nuclear program. This is considered a risky move to weaken long-time enemy Iran amid threats of retaliation from Iran, which is likely to spark a wider regional conflict. US President Donald Trump, while addressing the nation from the White House (official residence and office of the US President), said that Iran's major nuclear centers have been "completely destroyed".

    Iran warned America of consequences

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that the era of diplomacy is over and his country has the right to self-defense. "The warmongering, chaotic administration in America is fully responsible for the dangerous and far-reaching consequences of this aggressive act," he said during a press conference at a conference in Turkey. This was the first comment made by a high-ranking Iranian official since the attacks. Araghchi also said that America has crossed all limits and what happened last night was the most dangerous. Last night they crossed all limits by attacking nuclear centers. He said that later on Sunday he will go to Moscow to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin as America has jumped into a regional war with Israel.

No evidence of radiation after US attacks

Iran's nuclear agency confirmed on Sunday that its Fordo, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear centers have been attacked. The organization said in its statement that the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran assures the nation that despite the evil conspiracies of its enemies, it will rise with the efforts of its thousands of revolutionary and committed scientists and experts. Iran and the United Nations nuclear monitoring agency said that there were no signs of radiation after the attacks.
