Islamabad: Taliban is enraged after the death of Maulana Hamid ul-Haq in a suicide attack in Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Maulana Hamid ul-Haq was the Deputy Chief of Darul Uloom Haqqaniya. After his death, Maulana Rashid ul-Haq has been appointed as the new Deputy Chief of Darul Uloom Haqqaniya. Darul Uloom Haqqaniya is considered to be the biggest supporter of the Taliban in Pakistan. After the Namaz-e-Janaza of his father, Maulana Abdul Haq Sani vowed to implement Islamic system in Pakistan.
Vowed for Islamic rule in Pakistan
Addressing a gathering of thousands of supporters at his father's funeral at Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqaniya Akora Khattak, he said, "We will implement Islamic system in Pakistan. Pakistan does not belong to anyone. This Pakistan is ours. We will avenge the blood of our martyrs."
Maulana Rashid ul-Haq made deputy chief
According to X Press News report, the decision to make Maulana Rashid ul-Haq the deputy chief was taken during a gathering held at Darul Uloom Haqqaniya in Akora Khattak, which was attended by thousands of scholars, political figures and common people who attended the funeral of Maulana Hamid ul-Haq. Maulana Rashid ul-Haq's appointment was announced by Maulana Irfan ul-Haq Haqqani, who spoke on behalf of the Haqqaniya family and the scholars of Darul Uloom Haqqaniya. The decision was taken unanimously, with the gathering showing overwhelming support for the new deputy chief.

During the funeral, Maulana Irfan ul Haq raised his hand and prayed and appointed Maulana Rashid ul Haq as the deputy chief of Darul Uloom Haqqaniya. He also expressed support for Maulana Abdul Haq Sani and declared him the political successor of his martyred father Maulana Hameed ul Haq.

In his speech at the funeral, Maulana Rashid ul Haq expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and solidarity he received from the community and emphasized the legacy of his father and brother in the fight for the welfare of the country. He vowed to continue his mission and said, "This country is ours and our ancestors sacrificed their lives to protect it." Speaking at the funeral, Maulana Abdul Haq Sani assured the attendees that the Haqqaniya family will never leave the path of truth.
Vowed not to compromise on teachings of Islam
He said, "We will not be afraid of bombs, attacks or threats. As long as there is a member of the Haqqaniya family, we will continue the mission of Maulana Sami ul-Haq and will never compromise on the teachings of Islam." After the funeral, the martyrdom of Maulana Hameed ul-Haq was remembered and he was buried next to his father Maulana Sami ul-Haq, a final tribute to their shared commitment to Islam and the nation.
How Maulana Hamidul-Haq Haqqani died
A large number of people, including the Afghan Consul General, attended the funeral of Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani - the head of the JUI-S - who was killed in a suicide blast at Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak area of Nowshera district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. Maulana Hamidul-Haq Haqqani and others were killed in the bomb blast after Friday prayers. Following the tragic incident, a huge crowd gathered at the madrasa, where Maulana Hamidul-Haq's funeral prayers were led by his son Maulana Sahibzada Abdul Haq Sani.
