Islamabad: The Pakistani army is furious after being badly beaten during India's Operation Sindoor. The Pakistani army, which suffered humiliation at the hands of India, has now started repression in Balochistan. Baloch sources have revealed that the Pakistani armed forces have started a large-scale operation in Balochistan. Internet and electricity services have been shut down in many areas, so that communication between people in Balochistan can be cut off and news of atrocities cannot go out. This is being seen as an attempt by the Pakistani army to save face.
The failure of Pakistan's air defense and the weaknesses of the missile during the Indian attack have exposed the Pakistani army. Questions are being raised about the army within Pakistan itself. To divert attention from this, the Pakistani army is intensifying the operation in Balochistan. Soldiers are being sent to Balochistan again from the eastern border with India.
Atrocities of Pakistani army in Balochistan
The deployment of soldiers is part of the same pattern of the Pakistani army, in which it has been intensifying its action in Balochistan after failing on other fronts. Earlier, this happened after the Kargil war in 1999, the Balakot airstrike in 2019 and the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti in 2006. Each time, the army forcibly disappeared people and extrajudicial killings were carried out under the guise of anti-terrorism operations. Once again, preparations are being made to punish the Balochs to divert attention from its embarrassment.
Freedom movement in Balochistan
For some time now, the demand for separatism has increased in Balochistan. Recently, Baloch activist Mir Yar Baloch declared independence for Balochistan. Meanwhile, Baloch American Congress General Secretary Razzaq Baloch claimed that Pakistan has lost control over 70-80 percent of Balochistan. He said that the Pakistani army is now confined to Quetta only and due to fear, the soldiers are not even patrolling the streets at night.
