After Defeat, Shahbaz Sharif Begs for Peace Talks, Yet Again Rakes Up Kashmir

Islamabad: After getting beaten by India, Pakistan is now pleading for peace with India. On Thursday, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is ready for talks with India for peace. He said this during his visit to Kamra Airbase. However, during this time Shahbaz Sharif did not forget to sing the old song about Kashmir. He said that Pakistan is ready for talks with India to achieve peace, but there are some conditions for this.

Singed the old song on Kashmir

He asked India to talk on the Kashmir issue and demanded the right to self-determination under the United Nations. However, India has clearly stated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and will remain so in future too. Any talks on Kashmir will be held in the context of taking back the Pakistan occupied area (PoK).

Clarification given on Pahalgam

The Pakistani Prime Minister also clarified about the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and said that Pakistan has been wrongly accused of this incident. He said that Pakistan wanted a transparent investigation of the incident, but India resorted to aggression. During this, he boasted about the Pakistani Air Force and called it the protector of the country. Shahbaz Sharif was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir.

Military conflict between India and Pakistan

India launched Operation Sindoor on the night of 6-7 May to avenge the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Under this operation, terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK were targeted. After this, on 8, 9 and 10 May, the Pakistani army attacked Indian military bases with drones and missiles, which was foiled by the Indian defense system. India retaliated by launching a major air attack on Pakistan in which 11 military bases of Pakistan were targeted. Satellite images are confirming the heavy damage caused to Pakistan.
