China Tries to Take Credit for Ceasefire After Backing Pakistan During Operation Sindoor

Beijing. The tension between India and Pakistan is at its peak due to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. India has launched Operation Sindoor to target terrorists and their hideouts in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir. Pakistan, enraged by this, tried to target the border areas of China with hundreds of drones received as freebies from Turkey and missiles made in China. India's air defense system shot them down in the air. After this, India targeted and destroyed many airbases of Pakistan. Later, ceasefire happened with the mediation of America. Which has been welcomed by most of the countries of the world. China is also included in these.

    China took Pakistan's side

China had earlier issued a statement taking Pakistan's side. In which it was said that China stands firmly in favor of the unity and integrity of its neighboring country Pakistan. Pakistan got a big support and cooperation from this. On the basis of which it plays the game of terror against India. However, today China said that it supports and welcomes the India-Pakistan ceasefire.

China's Foreign Minister spoke to Ajit Doval

A statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the Chinese Foreign Minister, along with high-ranking officials of India and Pakistan, has helped reduce tensions. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that on the night of May 10, Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke to Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and India's NSA Ajit Doval. Which can help reduce tensions and bring about a complete, permanent ceasefire.

China will play a constructive role

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that we hope that India and Pakistan will consolidate the momentum of the ceasefire and carry it forward, China expressed hope that India and Pakistan will avoid further conflict, properly handle differences through dialogue and negotiation, and return to the path of political settlement. China will maintain dialogue with India and Pakistan and continue to play a constructive role in realizing a complete and permanent ceasefire and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
