'Don’t Mock Hinduism': Rashmi Desai Slams Urvashi Rautela Over Temple Claim Near Badrinath

Rashmi Desai has criticized Urvashi Rautela. Because she claimed that there is a temple named after her within a radius of one kilometer of Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand. Where everyone goes to worship. After this, the priests and local people there reprimanded her fiercely. And reprimanded her for spreading wrong information about the temple. Now Rashmi Desai has also condemned the actress and said that Hinduism is being made fun of.

Rashmi Desai, while calling Urvashi Rautela's claim wrong on Instagram, wrote on Instagram story, 'It is sad that people do not even take action against such nonsense... Hinduism is becoming a joke in India. By the way, she was politically correct when she was repeating her answer. Deliberately saying absurd things while representing India... it is sad, please do not play games in the name of religion.'

Urvashi Rautela had mentioned about having a temple in her name

Urvashi Rautela had told Siddharth Kannan in an interview, 'There is a temple in my name in Uttarakhand. It is located within a kilometer of Badrinath and people bow their heads there. Take blessings. There is also one in Delhi University, Damdami Mai Karke Bhagwan. So there too people have garlanded my photo, boys and girls, everyone. They have offered flowers. They have offered prasad. They have done everything.'

    Statement of Urvashi Rautela's team

Urvashi Rautela is in the news these days because of the item number in 'Jaat'. She is promoting the same. The actress' team has issued an official statement on the temple controversy. They wrote, 'Urvashi Rautela said that there is a temple in my name in Uttarakhand and not Urvashi Rautela's temple. Now people don't even listen to things properly. Just by hearing Urvashi or temple, they have assumed that people worship Urvashi Rautela. Listen to this video properly and then speak.'

Urvashi Rautela's team talked about legal action

The team further wrote, 'Urvashi said yes, she was worshipped by making her Damdami Mai in Delhi University. There is also a news article about it. Legal action should be taken against those who have made confusing comments on Urvashi Rautela's statement. It is important to check the facts properly before making baseless allegations and derogatory comments against any person. Everyone in the society should treat each other with respect and equality so that the rights of all can be protected.
