Field Marshal Munir Speaks After Sindoor Strike, Targets India in First Public Address

Field Marshal Munir Speaks After Sindoor Strike, Targets India in First Public Address

Islamabad: Pakistan's Shahbaz Sharif government has promoted Asim Munir, who destroyed 12 airbases against India, to Field Marshal. This is the second time in the history of Pakistan that a military officer has been made Field Marshal. Earlier, Ayub Khan became Field Marshal, who implemented military rule in Pakistan. According to Pakistani media reports, a special guard of honor ceremony was organized at the General Headquarters (GHQ) of the Pakistan Army in Rawalpindi on Wednesday to honor Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir after he was promoted to the highest military rank.

Pakistan had launched "Operation Banyan-um-Marsoos" in response to India's Operation Sindoor, for which it had to pay the price by attacking more than 12 of its airbases. India has attacked more than 12 airbases of Pakistan and caused serious damage. This campaign of Pakistan failed and it had to seek refuge in America for ceasefire. Despite this, Shahbaz Sharif decided to promote Asim Munir. This is the post where the obstacle of retirement ends. That is, Asim Munir will now remain on the post of Field Marshal till his death.

    What did Asim Munir say?

While addressing the army, Asim Munir once again spewed venom against India and said that 'Pakistan's army should stand firm like a steel wall against India's attack.' Asim Munir said that "This honour is a tribute to the brave men and women of the entire Pakistan and Pakistan Armed Forces, especially the martyrs who stood like a steel wall against India's unprovoked, cowardly and illegal aggression against Pakistan." Let us tell you that under Operation Sindoor, India had attacked 9 terrorist hideouts in PoK and Pakistan, in which more than 100 terrorists were killed. In this, the entire family of Mumbai attack mastermind Masood Azhar was wiped out.

After this, Pakistan sent drones to attack India, which India easily shot down. After the conflict escalated, when Pakistan dared to fire Fateh-2 missile, then the Indian Air Force started attacking Pakistan's airbases and destroyed 12 Pakistani airbases in just 90 minutes of attack. Pakistan has said that 53 people including 13 of its soldiers have died in India's attack, while more than 100 people have died.
