IMF Funds at Risk as US Pressures Pakistan, India Hits Back Hard in Ongoing Conflict

Pakistan has got into a big trouble by starting a war against India. Pakistan is continuously attacking with everything from drones to missiles. However, all its attacks have failed in front of India's defense shield. On the other hand, there is news of Pakistan suffering a big loss in India's counter attack. Pakistan Army has been broken by India's attack, while on the other hand it is also facing a big blow on the economic front. India has now started to choke Pakistan at the diplomatic level as well. According to top government sources, India is planning to demand reconsideration of the economic relief given to Pakistan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to sources, India will soon lodge a strong objection to the funding given to Pakistan. It will tell the IMF how the economic package being given to Pakistan is being used to spread terror, cross-border violence and anti-India activities. An official clearly said, 'We will create international pressure to awaken the conscience of the IMF. The countries we helped are supporting Pakistan today… now we have to put the truth in front of them.' Here he was pointing towards Turkey, where India had helped it a lot during the earthquake. However, it continues to be a big supporter of Pakistan.

    Marco Rubio called Asim Munir

Meanwhile, an important development has come to light from America. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called Pakistan's Army Chief General Asim Munir on Friday and expressed concern about the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. According to the spokesperson of the US State Department, Rubio appealed to both the countries for immediate de-escalation and also offered help from the US in resuming the talks.

Pakistan is deeply devastated at this time. In the early hours of Saturday, Pakistan claimed that it had attacked several Indian military installations, including a missile storage site. However, there has been no official confirmation of this from the Indian government or the army.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is constantly monitoring the situation. According to sources, he is constantly consulting with experts and every step is being taken very thoughtfully. A top official said, "Whatever action we are taking is based on detailed strategy and deep input. We are the aggrieved party, and we have every right to respond."
