India’s Next Rafale? Russia’s Stealth Jet Deal May Change Air Power Equation

New Delhi: Russia has proposed to give its super fighter jet to India. This super fighter is the fifth generation fighter aircraft Su-57E. Not only this, Russia will also give India the complete source-code of this aircraft. This means that India will get complete information about the technology of the aircraft. Also, India will also get a license to make it in its country. This news can prove to be a headache for Pakistan, China and America, because America never gave its technology to India. At the same time, India has border disputes with China and Pakistan. According to media reports, India wants Russia to install systems made in India in this aircraft. Such as GaN-based AESA radar (for example Uttam) and mission computer. At present, Russia is considering this. It is believed that with the arrival of this fighter jet, India will become the king of entire South Asia. Let's know the whole thing.

Know here how powerful is Su-57E

Sukhoi Su-57E is a great fighter aircraft, which is an advanced version of Su-57. It is a fifth generation aircraft with two engines. It has been made by Russia's Sukhoi company. It is an expert in deceiving the enemy. That is, it can dodge the radar. People are stunned to see the kind of aerobatics Sukhoi-57E performs while using very little space. Talking about the features of Sukhoi-57E, Su-57E is Russia's fifth generation stealth fighter aircraft. It is equipped with supersonic cruise, stealth design and multirole capabilities. Its maximum speed can be more than 2470 km per hour. Its operational range is from 3500 to 4800 km.

How does this super fighter become dangerous for the enemy

It is equipped with AESA radar, modern avionics and AI-assisted combat systems. The Su-57E has air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, hypersonic weapons and 30mm auto-cannons. Its advanced supermaneuverability system makes it extremely dangerous in aerial combat. It is one of Russia's most modern and deadly stealth fighter jets. The Su-57 is Russia's 5th generation stealth fighter jet, which was first flown in 2010. It has been included in the Russian Air Force since 2020.

    Su-57E INDIA RUSSIA DEAL

Such a powerful engine that makes the fighter plane dangerous

According to Army Recognition, the SU-57E fighter jet is equipped with a Saturn AL-41F1 engine. These engines are two afterburning turbofan engines, each capable of producing 88.3 kilonewtons of dry thrust and 142.2 kilonewtons of afterburner thrust. In emergency power setting, it can produce up to 147.1 kilonewtons of thrust. The AL-41F1 engine gives the Su-57 the ability to supercruise, that is, the ability to fly at supersonic speeds even without using afterburners. This engine gives the SU-57E high speed and agility, making it a powerful fighter aircraft.

Why is Su-57E important, AMCA delayed

The Su-57E deal is very important for India. Actually, India's own AMCA program is still in its initial stages. It will take at least ten years to make it a fifth generation aircraft. It is also reported that the US had also proposed to sell its F-35 aircraft to India. But, India will probably buy the aircraft from Russia only. In a major move, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved the AMCA programme. This will make India self-reliant in the defence sector. The Defence Ministry said in a press release that the project will be handled by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

It will take 10 years to develop AMCA

AMCA is being seen as India's fifth generation air power. It will help a lot in achieving 'self-reliance' in the defence sector. It will be a symbol of India's growing defence capabilities. It is a fifth generation stealth multirole fighter aircraft. It has modern technology. It is suitable for working in all weather conditions. AMCA is designed with low radar cross-section and supercruise capability. It is considered to be the successor of Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter aircraft. Some reports have said that its mass production can start by 2035. This means that by 2035 this aircraft will be manufactured in large numbers.

This is the specialty of fifth generation fighter planes

The biggest feature of fifth generation fighter planes is 'stealth technology'. It makes it difficult to detect the plane with radar. This makes it very difficult to detect the plane. These planes have better weapon systems, speed and supersonic flight. They have stealth, supercruise and digital technology. They have the ability to avoid radar, so the enemy cannot see them easily. This will be a single seat and double engine fifth generation fighter plane. Su-57E strikes so fast that it is not visible to the enemy.

This feature of the fifth generation makes the fighter smart

The specialty of fifth generation fighters is that its new engine design and cooling system reduce the temperature of the aircraft. This makes it difficult to detect it using thermal technology. This is the reason why they prove to be very dangerous. Finding them and targeting them is a big challenge even for the most modern technology.

    This becomes a challenge.

India-Pak have fourth or 4.5 generation fighters

The fighter jets that India and Pakistan currently have are of fourth or 4.5 generation. These come under radar detection. The prototype or experimental model of the stealth fighter aircraft project that India has approved will be ready in 2028. The arrival of Su-57E will increase India's strength in the region. The striking power of this fighter is so high that even enemies like China and Pakistan will think a hundred times before entering the Indian sky.

Does Su-57E really have some weaknesses?

Su-57E has supermaneuverability. Its thrust vectoring makes it agile in the air. It can travel long distances without refueling. It is cheaper than F-35 and F-47. But, it also has some weaknesses. It has limited stealth i.e. radar can detect it due to high RCS. So far only less than 40 jets have been made. Its combat experience has been limited. It has been used mostly in Syria.
