Israel backs India’s right to self-defense after air strikes on Pakistan terror camps

Tel Aviv: Israel has supported the missile attacks carried out in Pakistan under India's Operation Sindoor. In support of India's action, Israel has said that India has the full right to self-defense. Israel's ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, tweeted on Wednesday morning, "Israel supports India's right to self-defense. Terrorists should know that they have no place to hide after committing heinous crimes against innocents. They need to be taught a lesson." This support from Israel is important for India because important countries like China and Türkiye are leaning towards Pakistan.

The Indian Army has attacked Pakistan with missiles in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. India has carried out airstrikes in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Punjab. This action has been named Operation Sindoor, under which 9 targets have been attacked. According to the Indian Army, Markaz Subhanallah in Bahawalpur, Markaz Taiba in Muridke, Sarjal/Tehra Kalan, Mehmoona Zoya Facility in Sialkot, Markaz Ahle Hadith in Bhimber, Markaz Abbas and Markaz Raheel Shahid in Kotli, Shawai Nala Kaim and Markaz Syedna Bilal in Muzaffarabad have been attacked.

Turkey supports Pakistan

Amid the tension created after Operation Sindoor, Turkey has announced its support to Pakistan. Pakistan's foreign ministry wrote on social media platform X that "Turkey's foreign minister called Pak foreign minister to express Turkey's solidarity with India against the country's violation of Pakistan's sovereignty and killing of innocent civilians. Turkey expressed concern over the deteriorating regional security situation.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and President Donald Trump have also reacted to India's air strike in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. Marco Rubio has said that he is closely monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan. Rubio expressed hope that this tension between India and Pakistan will end soon. He said that talks will continue with both the Indian and Pakistani leadership for a peaceful resolution of the matter.

Trump also reacted

US President Donald Trump has described the tense situation between India and Pakistan as 'shameful'. Reacting to the incident, Trump said, 'It's a shame, we heard about it as soon as we entered the Oval Office. I already felt something was going to happen. Both countries have been fighting for a long time, in fact for several decades. I just hope that it ends very soon.
