Israeli Airstrike on Houthi Port in Yemen: 20 Jets Bomb 50 Targets from 2,000 Km Away

The Israeli army carried out heavy bombing on the port city of Hudaydah, controlled by Houthi rebels in Yemen, on Monday night. According to the army, 20 Israeli Air Force fighter jets took part in the attack. For this, the planes covered a distance of 2000 km.

Hudaydah Port and Bazil Concrete Factory were targeted in the attack. According to the Israel Defense Force, fighter jets dropped bombs on at least 50 targets.

This attack by Israel was carried out a day earlier in response to the attack by Houthi rebels on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. Many people were injured in the missile attack. After this, Israel had announced to take revenge for this.

Houthi rebels said - will answer Israel Houthi rebels say that at least 21 people have been injured in the Israeli attack. Nasreddin Amer, the chief of the media department of the Houthi rebels, said that they would respond to this attack. Israeli attacks will not be able to stop them. He also claimed that this attack was carried out jointly by both Israel and the US. However, a US defense official said that Washington did not participate in these attacks.

The Israeli army said that this attack is a blow to the economy of the Houthi regime and its military build-up. The Bazil concrete factory serves as an important economic resource for them and is used to build tunnels and military infrastructure.

The army said that the Hudaydah port was used by Houthi terrorists to transport 'Iranian weapons, equipment for military needs and for other terrorist purposes'.

Israel's first attack on Houthi rebels this year This was Israel's sixth attack in Yemen since the war in Gaza began and the first attack this year. Israel has said that the attack on Yemen has been done in response to repeated attacks by the Houthis against Israel. The IDF had stopped attacking Yemen since the start of a major US campaign against Houthi rebels in March.

Apart from Yemen, Israel also attacked Syria, Lebanon and Gaza on Monday night. The IDF carried out several air strikes on Hezbollah bases in South Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.

Apart from this, they also carried out several attacks on Syria bordering Lebanon. So far, no casualties have been reported in these two areas. The Israeli army also attacked Gaza. 54 people have died in this.

    Israel will completely occupy Gaza

Meanwhile, Israel has announced to further intensify the military operation in Gaza. Israel's War Cabinet approved this decision on Monday. This includes a plan to completely 'occupy' Gaza and control the entire area.

According to reports, an official said that it is expected that it will be implemented only after US President Donald Trump's visit next week. Israel will continue to try to reach a ceasefire and hostage agreement with Hamas until then.

Israeli Army Chief Eyal Zamin has warned about intensifying the operation in Gaza. He has said that this operation can endanger the lives of hostages in Gaza. However, he also said that the new plan will help in launching a stronger attack against Hamas and bringing back the remaining hostages.

    Israel started calling reserve soldiers

A day before this, Army Chief Eyal Zamin had said that he was calling his reserve soldiers for this. He said that the Israeli army would destroy all the infrastructure of Hamas built on the ground and underground in Gaza.

The ceasefire that had been going on for 8 weeks between Israel and Hamas was broken on March 18. After this, Israel again started attacking Gaza.

Israel has also stopped the aid to Gaza. Talks on ceasefire between the two countries are still stalled. Hamas has refused to discuss further on the release of hostages until Israel agrees to end the war and withdraw all its forces from Gaza.

According to the United Nations, Israel has declared 70% of Gaza as a red zone. People living here have been ordered to leave the area.
