    Janhvi Kapoor Smiles at Grandmother Nirmal Kapoor’s Funeral, Netizens Question Her Expression

    Anil Kapoor's mother Nirmal Kapoor passed away at the age of 90 due to health-related reasons. Family, friends and close people attended her funeral. Janhvi Kapoor also arrived with Shikhar Pahariya to pay her last respects. The 'Dhadak' actress looked very emotional while attending her grandmother's funeral, while Shikhar Pahariya stood by her despite being injured. Janhvi and Shikhar attended Nirmal Kapoor's funeral.


    On May 3, Janhvi Kapoor reached the family home to bid an emotional farewell to her grandmother Nirmal Kapoor. She tried to control herself, but sadness was clearly visible on her face. Shikhar also came to pay tribute despite having a bandage on his broken hand. However, amid all this, a photo of Janhvi is going viral in which she is seen smiling shortly before the funeral. Seeing her, people are raising the question that why is she laughing.


    Nirmal Kapoor's last rites


    Her last rites took place at Pawan Hans crematorium at 11:30 am on Saturday. Her family members including Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and others gathered to bid her a final goodbye.


    Who was Nirmal Kapoor?


    For those who don't know, Nirmal Kapoor was the wife of veteran filmmaker Surinder Kapoor. The couple had four children - Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Reena Marwah. Surinder Kapoor was a well-known Bollywood producer, while his and Nirmal's children have made their mark in the Indian film industry.
