Islamabad: The Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba is planning a fresh wave of attacks against India. This has been revealed by recent statements from top Lashkar leaders. First, Lashkar chief Hafiz Saeed threatened India. Now, Lashkar-e-Taiba's deputy chief and the main accused in the Pahalgam terror attack, Saifullah Kasuri, has warned of terrorist attacks in India. He has vowed to continue the jihad in Kashmir. The statements from these two Lashkar leaders come after the tensions between India and Pakistan following Operation Sindoor.
Saifullah Kasuri threatens India
According to reports, Lashkar-e-Taiba organized a large event in Lahore. During this event, top Lashkar leaders issued strong threats against India. Addressing his cadres, Saifullah Kasuri declared that the group "will never back down from the Kashmir mission." He also used religious rhetoric to justify the ongoing violence in Kashmir.
Kasuri mentions Hafiz Saeed
According to CNN-News18, Kasuri said, "Those who call us terrorists should listen—we will continue to fight for what we call a righteous cause and will never abandon our Kashmiri brothers and sisters." He also tried to downplay India's warnings. Kasuri claimed that the threats from India "have no real value," and asserted that Lashkar knows "how to deal with its enemy." Qasuri also mentioned Lashkar founder Hafiz Saeed (Amir-e-Mohtaram) to reassure the cadres.
New Strategy Against India
It is suspected that after suffering setbacks at the hands of India in Operation Sindoor, the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI is trying to bring terrorist organizations together on a single platform. It recently held a joint meeting with top terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. An agreement was reached to intensify terrorist operations against India. Pakistan uses terrorism as a proxy and denies any direct involvement.
