Naagin 7 tribute episode draws mixed response over use of AI visuals

Ekta Kapoor's serial 'Naagin' is making headlines with its seventh season. Only three episodes have aired so far. The first two episodes, featuring Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Esha Singh, received immense love from the audience. Both won hearts with their powerful acting. But something was shown in the third episode that led people to call it 'terrible'. Let's understand what happened in detail.

'Naagin 7' premiered last month on December 27, 2025. It stars Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Alice Kaushik, Karan Kundrra, Esha Singh, and Namit Paul, among others. Initially, the show impressed the audience, but the third episode disappointed many fans and even made some feel uncomfortable.

From Mouni Roy to Tejasswi Prakash, a Tribute Through AI

The latest episode showed Priyanka Chahar Choudhary becoming a Naagin. But before that, a tribute was paid to the franchise's six 'Maha Naagins' – Mouni Roy, Surbhi Chandna, Surbhi Jyoti, Nia Sharma, and Tejasswi Prakash – with the help of AI. However, this scene failed to impress the audience. On the contrary, it is being criticized online.

    'Stop Using AI'

One user said, "The use of AI could have been reduced." Another said, "The AI doesn't look good. It looks like the cartoon films that were made in 2010-12." A third user commented, "But isn't the AI a bit too advanced?" One user even pleaded, "For God's sake, stop using AI."
