As soon as the ceasefire failed, Israel has again started spreading destruction in the Gaza Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has given a befitting reply to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei while visiting northern Gaza on Tuesday. He has clearly said that 'Iran wants to destroy Israel, that's why we are fighting in Gaza.' While visiting northern Gaza, he said, "I want to tell you what we are fighting for and why we are fighting." He further said, "This is a post published today by Iran's dictator Ayatollah Khamenei, in which he has explained why Israel should be destroyed." Let us tell you that through a social media post, Iran's Supreme Leader has once again called for the destruction of Israel and said that 'God will give a harsh answer to the Zionists.'
Before Khamenei, on the occasion of Eid, the Turkish President had also said, 'O Allah, destroy Israel.' To give a befitting reply to the Iranian Supreme Leader, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Eyal Zamir, Chief of Southern Command Major-General Yaron Finkelman and other commanders had gone to northern Gaza with Netanyahu. During this, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu took stock of the military operation being carried out in Gaza from the Israeli army commanders.
What goal does Netanyahu want to achieve in Gaza?
After reaching northern Gaza, the Israeli Prime Minister once again warned Hamas, saying, "We urge Hamas to release our hostages. We are committed to achieving all our goals in this war." He further said, "We are doing this thanks to our brave fighters. They are really doing an incredible job." At the same time, the Israeli Defense Minister also warned, "The post where we are standing keeps an eye on Gaza. From here, the heads of terrorists are targeted, terrorist infrastructure is attacked. And from here, the Israeli people are protected. This is the approach we are adopting and these are the lessons we have learned."
He further said that "We will never allow such an enemy to endanger our communities and our citizens. And that is why we are continuing the campaign against Hamas. Our first goal is to free our citizens from Hamas's occupation. But if they persist in their refusal to release the hostages, we will intensify attacks against them until their defeat and the return of all our hostages." Meanwhile, Palestinian media has said that Israeli attack helicopters have fired heavily on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. The report said that the city of Abasan al-Kabira near Khan Younis has also been heavily attacked by Israeli artillery. According to Al Jazeera, 23 people have died in the Israeli attack. At the same time, Israel has claimed to have killed a senior Hamas commander. In the last one hour, there have also been reports of artillery attacks on the Nuseirat refugee camp and Bureij camp in central Gaza.
