Pahalgam Terror Attack: Taliban Condemns Attack, Extends Support to India, Slams Pakistan

Kabul: Condemning the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, the Taliban has supported India. Suhail Shaheen, a senior leader of the Taliban in power in Afghanistan, showed the mirror to Pakistan in his statement on the Pahalgam attack and said that the culprits of this incident should be brought to justice and given the harshest punishment. 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were killed in the terrorist attack on April 22 targeting tourists in Pahalgam. This attack has increased the tension between India and Pakistan a lot.

Suhail Shaheen, head of the Taliban's Doha-based political office and Afghanistan's designated ambassador to Qatar, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Speaking to Sputnik India, Suhail said that there should be a comprehensive investigation into the incident so that the real culprits can be found and brought to justice.

The attack is linked to Pakistan

Afghanistan's Taliban government's Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi has also given a statement on the Pahalgam attack. He said that such incidents undermine regional security and stability efforts. In such a situation, it is important that the culprits are punished so that such incidents do not happen in future. The Taliban's statement on the Pahalgam attack and support for India is important because relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan have not been good for the past few days.

The Pahalgam terrorist attack is linked to Pakistan. A terrorist organization called The Resistance Front (TRF) has claimed responsibility for this attack. This group is associated with the banned terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). However, the Pakistan government has rejected India's allegations. Pakistan says that India is pointing fingers at Islamabad for the Pahalgam attack without any proof.

After the Pahalgam attack, aggressive rhetoric has been seen from Pakistan and India. Many steps have also been taken by both the countries. India has suspended the Indus Water Treaty and asked all Pakistani citizens to leave the country. In response to this, Pakistan has talked about cancelling the Shimla Agreement. At present, war-like conditions are seen between the two countries.
