Pak Army Not Backing Down: Munir’s Spokesperson Issues Threat, Says War With India May Intensify

Islamabad: Pakistan's army has said that it is not making any effort to reduce tension with India. Also, Pakistan has admitted that it has suffered a lot of damage in the action taken under Operation Sindoor on its land. Pakistan's military officer Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary has said on Friday that there will be no attempt from our side to reduce tension. We will take action from our side. He said that India should bear the loss, because India has caused damage to us. It is believed from Chaudhary's statement that there may be an attempt of a big attack on India from the Pak Army in the coming days.

Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has also given a similar statement on Friday as the Pak Army. Asif has said that now there is no way left except full scale war with India. Asif has said that earlier our effort was to ensure that the situation does not deteriorate much but now we are not working on reducing the tension. Now there should be no doubt that war has arrived.

    Experts are also giving warnings

Ayesha Siddiq, Senior Fellow of King's College London, has also warned about increasing tension between Pakistan and India. She says that Pakistan's Army Chief Munir controls more strategic decisions than the country's Shahbaz Sharif. Asim Munir's nature is also of a warmonger type. In such a situation, it cannot be denied that he can push the country into war.

After the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Kashmir, tension has increased between India and Pakistan. After Pahalgam, India attacked many terrorist hideouts in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor on the intervening night of 6 and 7 May and destroyed many terrorist hideouts. After this, Pakistan is also threatening to retaliate.

Pakistan's army has been continuously firing on the LOC, which has targeted the common people living in the border areas. Pakistani army tried to target many cities in Punjab and Kashmir of India but their attacks were foiled by India's air defense system. After this, there is talk of escalating the war from Pakistan's side.
