Islamabad: A ceasefire was observed between India and Pakistan on Saturday evening. However, just a few hours after the agreement between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan to stop military action, the Pakistani army started violating it. On the other hand, the Pakistan government has said that it is committed to implementing the agreement with India with full responsibility. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry has instead accused India of not respecting the ceasefire agreement.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry claimed that their army is handling the situation with responsibility and restraint but the agreement is being violated by India. The statement said that if there is any problem in implementing the ceasefire, it should be resolved by talking at the appropriate level. The statement also asked the soldiers present on the ground to exercise restraint.

Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif has praised the ceasefire with India and thanked US President Donald Trump. He wrote on X, 'We thank President Trump for his leadership and active role for peace in the region.
