Terrorism was condemned in the statement of the Foreign Ministry.
The statement issued by the Taiwanese Foreign Ministry said, 'Tensions between India and Pakistan have increased after the terrorist attack in Kashmir on April 22, which has generated international concern.' According to the statement, Taiwan's Foreign Ministry strongly opposes international terrorism and works closely with democratic partners around the world for this. It further said that the Foreign Ministry will continue to pay close attention to developments in India and Pakistan and will be involved in joint efforts to ensure peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
India's Operation Sindoor
In response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India launched Operation Sindoor on the morning of 7 May. In this military operation, which was carried out in a planned and precise manner, the Indian Armed Forces targeted terrorist hideouts at 9 places in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). More than 100 terrorists were killed in this. After this, on 8, 9 and 10 May, Pakistan tried to target Indian military bases, which India successfully foiled.
Giving a befitting reply to Pakistan, India took action and targeted many of its important military bases. Satellite images have revealed heavy damage to many military airports of Pakistan. On May 10, an agreement was reached between India and Pakistan to stop attacks, which is still in force.
