Kabul: Afghan Taliban is not afraid of the Pakistani army at all. It seems that it has decided to take on the Pakistani army. The Taliban has continued the construction of border posts in eastern Nangarhar province, rejecting Pakistan's objections. Amu TV has given this information quoting sources. These constructions are happening at a time when Taliban soldiers are constantly clashing with Pakistani border forces. At the same time, Pakistan has also closed the important Torkham crossing for Afghanistan.
Amu TV reported in its report that the construction of the posts has faced strong opposition from Pakistan, but the Taliban is committed to expanding the border infrastructure and setting up new posts in Afghanistan. Pakistan claims this area as its own, but the Taliban rejects its claim. Not only this, the Taliban also refuses to accept the imaginary Durand Line as the border. Taliban officials see the establishment of posts as an attempt to strengthen the border and increase territorial control. Pakistani officials have reacted sharply to the construction of these posts, which has further worsened the already tense relations between the two sides.
Tension Between Taliban and Pakistan
Relations between Kabul and Islamabad have deteriorated rapidly after the Taliban took power in Afghanistan. Violence has increased in Pakistan after the return of the Taliban.
🔸 Pakistan has blamed the Taliban for this and said that it is giving land in Afghanistan to the terrorist group TTP (Pakistani Taliban).
🔸 The Taliban has denied these allegations and called the terrorist attacks in Pakistan an internal matter of Islamabad.
Attack on Pakistani Army Camp
A day earlier on Tuesday, there was a terrorist attack on the Pakistani army camp in Bannu, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, in which at least 15 people were killed, while more than 30 were injured.
🔹 The terrorists had rammed a vehicle filled with explosives into the wall of the military camp.
🔹 The Pakistani army said that it foiled the terrorist attack and killed all 6 terrorists.
Taliban Commander Killed in Pakistan’s Counterattack
Earlier on February 28, Pakistani officials had said that 14 terrorists were killed in Ghulam Khan, located on the Afghan border.
According to reports in the Pakistani media quoting security sources, a Taliban commander was also killed in this action.
🔸 The commander has been identified as Mujibur Rahman, known as Mansoor.
🔸 Rahman was an Afghan citizen who hailed from Wardak province of Afghanistan.
🔸 According to Geo News, he had worked in the third battalion of the Taliban's National Military Academy.
If this is the case, it would indicate that Taliban fighters are now directly involved in attacks against Pakistan, contrary to the claims of the Kabul regime.
