Trump Delays Mexico Tariffs for 30 Days: 10,000 Soldiers to Tackle Drug Supply at Border

US: Trump said that he has talked to Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum. This conversation was very good. She has agreed to immediately deploy 10,000 soldiers on the US-Mexico border to stop the supply of illegal drugs in America.

Trump said that he had talked to the Canadian PM before talking to the Mexican President. Now after some time, he will talk to Trudeau again. He accused Trudeau that American banks are not being allowed to open or do business in Canada.

Mexican President called Trump's decision to defer a victory

Mexican President Sheinbaum gave this information in a press briefing. When Sheinbaum arrived to address the press brief, she was welcomed with applause. She asked the people present there if they had seen her social media post. Trump has agreed to postpone the tariff. She described the change in Trump's decision as a victory for Mexico.

Sheinbaum asked America to curb the supply of weapons.

Sheinbaum said that her conversation with Trump lasted for 35 to 40 minutes. During this time, she complained about the supply of dangerous weapons from America to Mexico. Sheinbaum said that these weapons have reached the hands of criminal groups, due to which their power has increased.

Sheinbaum said that she wants America to work to stop the supply of such weapons. Trump agreed to this. Sheinbaum said-

Trump wants America's trade deficit with Mexico to be reduced. I told him that this is not a deficit. We are commercial partners. On this, Trump said that imposing tariffs is necessary to continue competing with China and other countries.

Mexico was relieved as the tariff war ended.

President Sheinbaum said that he and Trump agreed to continue the talks, but no meeting is scheduled between the two leaders at the moment. According to CNN, Trump's decision to stop the tariff war for some time is a relief for Mexico.

Mexico is America's largest trading partner. This country is dependent on America for the supply of about 80% of things.
