For this, he has set a deadline of August 22, which is just a few days away. Meanwhile, European leaders have said that they are ready to attend the meeting of President Trump and Zelensky and for this they are also going to visit the US soon.

On Saturday, French President Emmanuel Macron planned to hold another meeting of the "coalition of the willing" via video link on Sunday with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. On the same day, Zelensky confirmed his planned visit to the United States on August 18 to meet Trump.
Trump and Putin met
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump held talks in Alaska. The two leaders met at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base. Their brief conversation in the "three-three" format lasted two hours and 45 minutes. The Russian side was represented by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
