Approximately half an hour later, Trump called *The Post* again to provide an update.
Trump Praises Asim Munir
Speaking about Islamabad, Trump remarked, "You really ought to stay right there, because something could happen within the next two days—and we are strongly inclined to go there." He added, "It is highly probable—do you know why? Because the 'Field Marshal' is doing a tremendous job." Trump has previously praised Pakistan's so-called "Field Marshal," Asim Munir, on several occasions. He has even referred to Munir as his "favorite Field Marshal" on multiple instances.
Describes Asim Munir as 'Fantastic'
He further stated, "He is fantastic; and for that reason, it is highly likely that we will be returning there." Trump said, "Why should we go to a country that has absolutely nothing to do with this matter?" Trump also indicated that he was displeased with reports stating that, during the failed talks held last weekend, the U.S. had asked Iran to halt its uranium enrichment program for at least two decades.
