US Shared 'Dangerous Intel' With PM Modi Before Ceasefire—CNN Report Claims

Washington: Pakistan was badly scared after the destruction of Noor Khan Airbase by India's attack. Pakistan's air defense systems were destroyed and they were proving to be a complete failure in intercepting Indian missiles. Whereas till that time India had used only its weapons which caused very less destruction. It seemed that India was going to destroy all the military bases and weapons depots of Pakistan in the next few hours. Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance calls Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and after that ceasefire is announced. What did JD Vance tell PM Modi on the phone? What was the 'dangerous intelligence' that made India agree to ceasefire?

CNN has revealed this quoting US officials. According to CNN's report, the US had received some intelligence information that was quite dangerous. This information was so sensitive that the Donald Trump administration, which had said just a day before that it had nothing to do with this war, had to suddenly intervene and talk to India for a ceasefire. According to CNN, US intelligence agencies feared that the situation between India and Pakistan could go out of control, potentially leading to a nuclear war.

What did JD Vance say to PM Modi on the phone?

According to CNN, after receiving the intelligence report, US Vice President JD Vance immediately called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and after giving that intelligence information, proposed to him to find a solution to the ceasefire through direct talks with Pakistan. The purpose of his phone call was to advise India to avoid a direct war. CNN quoted American officials as saying that "after receiving the intelligence, JD Vance immediately reached out to Donald Trump and shared the information with him and after that he telephoned Prime Minister Narendra Modi." During this, JD Vance told Prime Minister Modi that 'America's assessment is that if the conflict continues for two more days, then this war can escalate to a dramatic outcome.' However, American officials did not tell 'what that intelligence was and what did it mean for the war to escalate to a dramatic outcome.'

CNN has said in its report that three American officials were constantly keeping an eye on the India-Pakistan war. These included US Vice President JD Vance, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, who is also the National Security Advisor, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. They were constantly taking information about every situation. But as soon as they received 'dangerous intelligence', they immediately started playing a role in stopping the conflict. The officials refused to disclose that intelligence.

Was Pakistan scared of India's attacks?

According to American media reports, after the destruction of Noor Khan airbase, Pakistan was very scared and it felt that now India is going to attack its high value target. Noor Khan airbase is the most sensitive airbase of Pakistani Air Force and India had carried out deep strikes here. According to American media reports, Pakistan's air defense system and radar system were not able to intercept Indian weapons at all. Due to which Pakistan had nothing to stop Indian attacks. Whereas Pakistan's missiles were not harming India. Due to which Pakistan was in a panic and it wanted to get out of the war somehow.
