Islamabad: The poisonous plant of fundamentalism and terrorism that Pakistan had planted has now become a huge banyan tree, which is slowly engulfing the whole world. These terrorist organizations are not only destabilizing Pakistan, but are now engaged in creating chaos abroad as well. One such case has come to light in Spain, where Barcelona police have arrested 11 Pakistani fundamentalists, including a woman. Spanish police had received information from international security agencies that a conspiracy was being hatched to attack some big people in Europe and Spain. A link to this conspiracy was present in Barcelona.
Based on the information, Spanish security agencies raided two places and arrested 11 people, including a woman. All of them are associated with Pakistan's radical organization 'Tehreek-e-Labbaik' (TLP). During interrogation, it was revealed that this radical organization was planning deadly attacks on many people in Europe and Spain on charges of blasphemy. Preparations were also underway to glorify these attacks. The arrested people had even prepared a hit list to carry out the attacks.
This is how the attack was being prepared
The woman arrested in this case, whose name is said to be Kulsum, had created a WhatsApp group named 'TLP Sisters'. This group included 40 people, and details were being shared in the group about who to attack and when. Information about the plan, method, and time of the attacks was being circulated in the group. It was also revealed that 38-year-old Kulsum's husband is already in jail. During the raid, Spanish police recovered cash, weapons, and other suspicious items from their hideouts. This incident once again exposed the global reach of Pakistani extremists and their dangerous conspiracy to spread terrorism abroad.
Recruiters for IS Arrested Earlier
It is worth noting that on November 7, Spanish police had arrested a group of Pakistani extremists, including 14 extremists. Following this, on November 15, Spanish police arrested an imam and five others in a major terrorism case. Additionally, on January 11, Spanish police, in collaboration with Moroccan police, arrested a cell recruiting for the ISIS terrorist organization actively operating in Spain and Morocco.
The increasing involvement of Pakistani extremists in global terrorism is now becoming a major concern for many European nations, as they have witnessed a sharp rise in terrorism-related activities linked to Pakistan-based radical organizations.
