The company aims to install 1 lakh 4G towers by June, which can be upgraded to 5G in future. This means that the rollout of BSNL's 5G services can start in the coming days. If this happens, the government company will become the fourth telecom service provider to provide 5G services.

According to reports, BSNL aims to install 1 lakh 4G towers by June. It is said that these towers will be such that they can be upgraded to 5G. 5G testing started in these cities
According to a report by Business Standard, BSNL has started testing 5G infrastructure. It is said that tower sites have started working in Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Kolkata, Patna, Hyderabad, Chennai and some other state capitals. The company is planning to roll out 5G services in the next three months. The company is testing 5G in those telecom circles where it has a good hold. It is said that base transceiver stations are also being installed in cities like Kanpur, Pune and Vijayawada.

Profit after 18 years, work on 6G
Recently, a report revealed that BSNL is installing 1 lakh indigenous 4G mobile towers across the country, which will be converted into 5G. This work is expected to be completed by June. This is being done under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Yojana. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had given this information. He had told that India has joined the five countries which have their own telecom technology. The minister had said that BSNL has turned profitable after 18 years and the government is also planning to move ahead with 6G technology.
