Bumrah's Comeback Tsunami: Mumbai Indians' Season Set for Turnaround as Pace Ace Returns

New Delhi: A big good news has come for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League 2025. Fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah, who is out of the team due to injury, is going to return to the field soon. Bumrah was injured during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on the Australia tour. Due to this, he could not play for Team India in the ICC Champions Trophy apart from the home series against England. Along with this, he has also not been able to play in the opening matches in the 18th season of IPL for Mumbai Indians.

Bumrah is currently at the Center of Excellence in Bangalore to recover from the injury, but now a big update has come on his fitness. According to the report, Bumrah can join the Mumbai Indians team after the match against Lucknow Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 7. However, he has not yet got the green signal from the BCCI medical team to join the team, but Bumrah has almost recovered from his injury and is feeling well.

Mumbai has had a bad start in the 18th season

Mumbai Indians have had a bad start in the Indian Premier League 2025. Captain Hardik Pandya did not play for the team in the first match and lost it. After this, the five-time champion had to face defeat in the second match as well. However, in the third match on home ground, Mumbai Indians have made a strong comeback by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders. In this way, the team has won one and lost two in the first three matches.

Both batting and bowling have been ordinary so far

If we talk about the performance of Mumbai Indians this season, then both batting and bowling have been ordinary. Especially in bowling, the team is seen struggling a lot. Apart from this, the players of the team are not able to give a good start in batting. In such a situation, the return of Jasprit Bumrah can give a big strength to Mumbai Indians.
