    DC vs RCB Highlights: Krunal's All-Round Show, Kohli's Fifty Push RCB Closer to Playoffs

    New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore has taken the first step towards the playoffs of IPL 2025. RCB won by 7 wickets against Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium. With this win, RCB has 14 points in 10 matches. Now it needs just one win to go to the playoffs. Batting first, Delhi Capitals scored 162 runs for 8 wickets. In response, RCB had lost 3 wickets for 26 runs at one time. From here, Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya hit fifties and took the team to the target in the 19th over.


    Delhi somehow crossed 150


    After losing the toss, Delhi could not make a fighting score while batting first. For Delhi, KL Rahul played a little slow and scored 41 runs with the help of three fours in 39 balls. Tristan Stubbs scored 34 runs with the help of five fours and a six in 18 balls and took Delhi past 150. Delhi Capitals had a great start. The way the first three overs were played. But after this, after the wickets of Karun Nair and Faf du Plessis fell in the middle overs, the run rate dropped and the responsibility was now on KL Rahul and captain Akshar Patel.


    Axar got out early but two important wickets were taken by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, where he dismissed KL Rahul at a crucial time. Meanwhile, Bhuvi ended the rest of the story by taking the wicket of Ashutosh. Delhi opener Abhishek Porel scored 28 runs in 11 balls with two fours and two sixes. Faf du Plessis was a bit slow. Du Plessis scored 22 runs in 26 balls with the help of two fours. Karun Nair was out after scoring four runs and captain Akshar Patel was out after scoring 15 runs. Vipraj Nigam was run out after scoring 12 runs in six balls with the help of one six.


    Delhi Capitals added 54 runs in the last five overs and lost four wickets. For RCB, Bhuvneshwar took three wickets for 33 runs in four overs while Hazlewood took two wickets for 36 runs in four overs while Yash Dayal and Krunal Pandya took one wicket each.
