In a cooler, at the most you have to clean the water tank from time to time and change the cooling pads. Its cost is also very less and there is no need to call an expert technician. The cost of servicing an AC is more than that of a cooler. The AC may need to get gas refilled every year, the filter needs to be cleaned and for this, many times one has to depend on a technician, which also proves to be expensive.
