India Reaches Champions Trophy 2025 Final, Defeats Australia

Dubai: The Indian team has reached the title match of the Champions Trophy 2025. India has made it to the final for the third consecutive time. After becoming the champion in 2013, India lost to Pakistan in 2017. Now India has won the semi-final match against Australia. India won by 4 wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Virat Kohli was the biggest hero of India's victory with the bat.

    Virat Kohli Misses Century

Virat Kohli played the biggest innings for the Indian team in the semi-finals against Australia. Virat, who came in at number three, handled the innings. After Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma was also out early. After two wickets fell, Virat took the innings forward with Shreyas Iyer. During this, he completed his fifty. After Iyer was out, Axar Patel and then KL Rahul supported Virat.

Virat Kohli was easily moving towards the century. But in the 43rd over, he became the victim of Adam Zampa. Virat played the ball by flying despite the fielder being at long on. It went straight into the hands of Dwarshuis. Virat Kohli played an innings of 84 runs in 98 balls. This innings included 5 fours. That is, he scored 64 runs by running between the wickets.

    Gautam Gambhir Disappointed

Virat Kohli had a chance to score his second century in the tournament. When he got out, Indian team head coach Gautam Gambhir also got disappointed. His reaction was worth seeing. KL Rahul, who was batting at the other end with Gambhir, also drowned in disappointment. The condition of the spectators present in the stadium was also similar. In the 49th over, KL Rahul finished the match with a six.

Batting first, Australia had scored 264 runs. The Indian team successfully chased down the target, securing their place in the final of the Champions Trophy 2025.
