Dubai: The Indian team has won the Champions Trophy 2025 by defeating New Zealand. India won by 4 wickets at the Dubai International Stadium. This is Team India's third Champions Trophy and 7th ICC Trophy. In the final match, from spin bowlers to batsmen played a role in the victory for India. Playing first, New Zealand scored 251 runs. The Indian team won the match in the 49th over.


New Zealand had an explosive start

The New Zealand team made an explosive start in this match. Rachin Ravindra was playing shots easily. He was scoring runs easily against all the Indian bowlers. He had scored two centuries in this tournament. He had also scored a century in the semi-finals. After 10 overs, New Zealand's score was 69 runs for 1 wicket. From here, there was talk of 300 runs. Kuldeep Yadav turned the match around

Batting first, New Zealand scored 251 runs for 7 wickets. India won the match on the last ball of the 49th over. Ravindra Jadeja hit the winning four. Captain Rohit Sharma was chosen as the Player of the Match.
