Hyderabad: A strange incident happened at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Sunrisers batsman Ishan Kishan walked out of the field against Mumbai Indians. He showed the 'Spirit of Cricket'. Mumbai Indians had made a half-hearted appeal. The opposing team also appreciated it. But later it was found that they were not actually out. After Ishan Kishan's dismissal, people on social media are accusing of fixing in IPL.
What did Ishan do?
The incident happened on the first ball of the third over. Deepak Chahar bowled an easy ball to Ishan on the leg side. The wicketkeeper caught the ball and the match was about to proceed. Then the umpire called it wide. But then seeing Ishan walking out of the field, he immediately changed his decision and declared him out. Surprisingly, even Chahar and captain Hardik Pandya were not sure of the dismissal. In fact, the fast bowler was walking back to his place.

Allegations of fixing on social media
When Ishan was going back to the dressing room, he had a slight smile on his face. Mumbai players immediately went to him and patted him on the back for the 'Spirit of Cricket'. But the drama did not end here. Later, the replays showed nothing on Snicko. This led to Ishan cursing himself in the dressing room. People are making various allegations against Ishan on social media for getting out like this. People believe that Ishan gave his wicket due to fixing.
Ishan's poor performance continues
With this match, Ishan's poor performance in IPL 2025 continued. He started the season with a brilliant century against Rajasthan Royals. But in the next 7 innings, he was able to score only 33 runs. His average was 5.5 and strike rate was 86.84. The hosts came out to bat first against Mumbai. They had a very bad start. They lost four wickets for just 24 runs in the powerplay. In fact, this was the first time in 12 years that Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their first four wickets for less than 20 runs in an IPL match.
