IPL 2025: Struggling Sunrisers Hyderabad Take a Break Abroad After Much-Needed Win Over Chennai

Sunrisers Hyderabad had an explosive start to IPL 2025. In the very first match, they scored 286 runs against Rajasthan Royals. However, after that the graph of the team's performance started falling. Pat Cummins' team had to wait for 6 matches for the second win. After that, after two consecutive defeats against Mumbai, the team defeated Chennai Super Kings in their home.

    Sunrisers left for a holiday

After winning over Chennai Super Kings, the KKR team has left for a holiday. This information was given on the franchise's social media handle. The Sunrisers Hyderabad team has reached India's neighboring country Maldives. There is a gap of one week between the team's two matches. After April 25, the team now has to play on May 2. In the next match, Pat Cummins' team will face Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium.

    Threat of being eliminated

Sunrisers Hyderabad is also in danger of being eliminated from IPL 2025. Currently, the team is at number eight in the table with 6 points from 9 matches. The team still has to play 5 matches. With 16 points, a place in the playoffs is considered almost certain. That means Hyderabad now has to win all its matches. Even if it reaches 14 points, it can make it to the playoffs, but then a lot will depend on the net run rate.

    Pat Cummins went to Singapore

Sunrisers Hyderabad has got a long break for the second time in IPL 2025. Earlier, after April 17, the team played a match on April 23. In the 5-day break, the team captain Pat Cummins went to Singapore. There he spent time with his wife and child. His wife and child went to Australia while Cummins returned to India. Now this time the entire Hyderabad team has gone out for a holiday.
