Jio joins Trusted Tech Alliance with Google and Microsoft at Munich meet

Fifteen major companies from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America have announced the formation of the Trusted Tech Alliance (TTA). This is a group of like-minded international tech companies that have come together to create globally trusted and tested technologies for connectivity, cloud infrastructure, semiconductors, software, and artificial intelligence. Jio Platforms is India's representative in this alliance. The alliance was announced during the Munich Security Conference in Germany.

These leading companies are part of this alliance.

The founding members of the alliance include 15 global tech companies, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Ericsson, Nokia, SAP, and NTT. The alliance says that more companies will be added to the alliance in the future. In addition, work will continue to improve technology at the national and global level, remain competitive, and build a robust digital system.

    Jio's Big Pledge

At the launch, Jio Platforms CEO Kiran Thomas said that reliable, secure, and transparent technology is essential to accelerate global digital development. Jio Platforms is proud to be a part of the Trusted Tech Alliance, working together to create safe and trustworthy rules and practices in the technology world.

He further explained that through this effort, we aim to work with partners around the world to improve future internet connectivity, cloud, and AI systems so that people can trust them for the long term.

Microsoft Vice Chairman and President Brad Smith stated on this occasion that in the current global environment, it is essential for like-minded companies to come together to build trust and high standards in technology across borders.

Ericsson CEO Borje Ekholm stated that no single company or country can build a secure and reliable digital infrastructure alone; global cooperation is essential.

India's influence will increase on the global stage

Under this alliance, member companies have agreed on five key principles: honest corporate governance practices, periodic security audits, a strong supply network for goods and services, a system where everyone can work together, and protecting people's data in accordance with the law. Through these principles, companies will ensure that technology is operated safely, reliably, and responsibly, regardless of where it is developed or used.

Experts believe that Jio's participation will allow India to play an active role in shaping global digital standards. This could provide global credibility to cloud, 5G, and AI-based services in the country and strengthen consumer confidence in data security.
